Lead Beneficiary – AUT
WP2 – Beneficiaries Status, EICC Development, and Requirements Analysis focuses on establishing a solid analytical and operational foundation for the EQUALCity project. This work package is dedicated to investigating the needs, current status, development potential, and areas of excellence in knowledge among beneficiary institutions. It includes a comprehensive analysis of existing European Union (EU) and Southern Mediterranean (SM) curricula related to urban development and sustainable management, with the aim of identifying gaps, best practices, and opportunities for alignment. Based on these findings, WP2 formulates detailed capacity-building needs, defines relevant thematic areas, and specifies equipment and infrastructure requirements. Furthermore, this work package is responsible for preparing the conceptual framework of the EICC, designing targeted workshops informed by the investigation outcomes, and overseeing the setup of the EICC laboratory, including equipment procurement and the organization of its official inauguration.
