The EQUALCity consortium is gathering in Chania, Crete, Greece, from 23 to 25 September 2026, for the 2nd Physical Meeting of the Project Management Board (PMB).

The meeting represents an important milestone in the implementation of the EQUALCity project, providing partners with an opportunity to review progress, assess achievements, discuss ongoing activities and challenges, and jointly define the next steps for the successful implementation of the project.

Over the course of three days, project partners will address key areas across the different Work Packages, including project management and coordination (WP1), the status of beneficiaries, the development of the EICC and requirements analysis (WP2), as well as academic preparation and curricula development (WP2/WP3).

Particular attention will also be given to the implementation of infrastructure and development of new courses (WP4), the exploitation of EQUALCity results (WP5), quality assurance and project sustainability (WP6), and dissemination and communication activities (WP7).

The meeting will also focus on the next steps for project implementation, ensuring that partners remain aligned on priorities, timelines and expected results.

Through constructive discussions, knowledge exchange and close cooperation among consortium members, the meeting aims to further strengthen the implementation of EQUALCity and contribute to the achievement of its objectives and the long-term sustainability of its results.

The Chania meeting reflects the consortium’s continued commitment to European cooperation, quality in higher education, institutional capacity building and sustainable impact, in line with the objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme.
